Life-sized dinosaurs and Solid Marble Pavilions are not an uncommon sight
for visitors to our North Yorkshire stores. But the wacky forecourt displays
belie the main reason why people flock to Simply Dutch.
Simply Dutch is best known for the huge range of solid oak furniture it
sells.
From the intricately carved bedsteads to our huge dining suites Simply Dutch
offer an eclectic blend of old and new. A quirky antithesis to the usual
High Street offering.
With the majority of new furniture being very token in nature and the High
St seemingly awash with veneers, MDF and even compressed cardboard pieces
it's reassuring to see the chunky solidity of Simply Dutch's furniture.
Timeless designs captured to compliment any period of property, even our
contemporary ranges are traditionally made. Quality furniture at bargain
prices that's what were famous for!
And whilst for many years we've been known as 'The Most Interesting Store In
The North' our latest website will ensure the North's best kept secret is
'out of the bag' and the whole of the United Kingdom can purchase pieces
that are uniquely Simply Dutch!
We import all of our oak pieces personally with shipments on a monthly basis
to ensure there's always something fresh and a visit to the store will
certainly spark the imagination. Along with the incredible range of Oak on
offer Simply Dutch are probably the largest stockists of Reclaimed Pine and
dedicate one of our showrooms to its display. Using local artisanal
craftsmen we have created a number of unique furniture ranges, with Gothic
pieces nestling side by side with the Painted and Distressed French ranges.
Anything but ordinary!
Simply Dutch occupies a massive 30,000sq ft site just off the A1 in North
Yorkshire at Leeming Bar. Easily
reached from both Leeds and Newcastle with Leeming being served by the North
East mainline railway into Northallerton, putting us only 21/2 hours from
London. Ample parking is available at both stores and for those wishing to
stay overnight we have arranged a special rate with our local Hotels! (buy a
few bits and we'll knock it off your bill!!)
Simply Dutch stock an amazing collection of pieces which are a source of
inspiration for designers, architects and their clients from all over the
country. A place where anyone involved with the hospitality and leisure
industry can find something different. With a range of Oak Furniture, Cast
and Bronze pieces, reproduction objects, fireplaces, stained glass, garden
ornamentation and masses of old and new decor items - this is a collection
that has to be seen to be believed.
With the majority of new furniture being very token in nature and the High
St seemingly awash with veneers, MDF and even compressed cardboard pieces
it's reassuring to see the chunky solidity of Simply Dutch's furniture.
Our Leeming store has a dedicated antiques centre serving both public and
corporate customers. Occasionally our buyers unearth a little gem, or maybe
even two! We've turned up Chippendale Chairs, Arts and Crafts exhibition
pieces, all sorts of Victoriana and even a piece or two of the obligatory
Claris Clift! And "we're so grateful to our customers for informing
us"...........after they've bought it of course!! We can't promise to sell
you a Rembrandt for £50 every week but bargains abound!
Our constantly changing stock surprises even the most regular customers,
ensuring that just one visit means a monthly pilgrimage to Simply Dutch!
