This exquisite piece is a nineteenth century french versailles inspired hadn carved teakwood fireplace surround. The fireplace is detailed with a twine design edning in a curved channel base and a simple two line border rope friezes. Flowing Rococo lines, inspired by French examples, are in marked contrast to the regularity of Neo- classical designs. Featured in Nieman Marcu catalogs.
